About Maria

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, I spent my childhood in the epicenter of cultural diversity. Attended high school and college in Manhattan, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Berkeley College, and joined the workforce. I forged my path excelling in various corporate finance and accounting positions, working my way up the ranks for prominent companies throughout New York City. Although, I enjoyed the excitement of the corporate world, I decided to change career paths and became a Licensed Realtor in 1997. I had the opportunity to experience the growth when I joined the Real Estate industry and I became passionate about exploring all avenues of this amazing, growing industry.

From apartment rentals and luxury homes to investment properties and multi-family homes, you name it, I was involved. I learned how to be creative with how I generated new business in an industry that had virtually no marketing strategies or technologies available to Realtors at the time. I put in the hours and the effort from inside an office with a telephone and word processor, and inserted myself into the public eye getting to know the industry professionals and creating opportunities by helping others.

Fast forward, 27 years , fully immersed in my passion, Real Estate, serving my clients, builders, my community and in my leadership roles, with a deep understanding of the industry and a proven track record of closed transactions and happy customers. I am partnered with one of the top Real Estate companies in Northern Colorado, The Group Inc., a leader in Northern Colorado since 1976. With leading technology, a high-level of marketing and highly trained, professional, staff. Combining these forces with my personal strengths fully allows me to provide the absolute best service for my clients and exceed their expectations every time with a professional and exceptional approach that goes far beyond closing day.

As a Realtor, I’m a tough negotiator and always go the extra mile for my clients. I take pride in my ability to help them confidently navigate and achieve their goals, simply by educating them and being their advocate, every step of the Real Estate transaction. I am honest and direct, structured in my processes, and I never forfeit integrity just to close the deal.

My gratification comes from seeing the outcome for my clients, knowing that I played an integral role in helping them achieve their goals. Having been licensed in and lived in multiple different states myself, I understand the complexity of relocating and I have become an expert at making these moves a smooth transition for my clients.

Outside of real estate, I have two daughters that both live in Florida, my youngest is serving in the US Navy. I have two grandsons, Jordan and Jo-Jo, and lastly, my third “child”, a clever little Frenchie named Chesty who is so much fun and keeps me on my toes! I enjoy “unplugging” and immersing myself in nature. I love the mountains, fishing and camping, racquetball, cruising on my e-bike, or gardening and cooking. I have a huge soft-spot for animals and kids, and love to support various organizations that focus on these two passions, that allow me to give back to my community.
